Verify a Tonex certificate
Every certificate issued by Tonex Management Solutions carries a unique number, such as TNX-AB12-CD34. Enter it below to confirm that the certificate is genuine and still valid.
What the different Tonex documents mean
- Certificate of Completion
- Issued by Tonex for short and online courses when the learner completes the course and passes its assessments, including the post-course assessment. It carries no NQF credits and is not a QCTO or SETA certificate or statement of results.
- Statement of Results and Certificate of Competence
- Issued by Tonex for QCTO skills programmes after the learner's evidence (including the final integrated summative assessment, FISA) has been assessed and internally moderated. They record the learner's results with Tonex as an accredited skills development provider.
- QCTO certificate
- Issued by the QCTO itself, for example after the external integrated summative assessment (EISA). QCTO certificates can only be verified by the QCTO.
For employers and institutions
A valid result shows the learner’s name, what they completed and the date, exactly as recorded by Tonex. If the details differ from the certificate you were given, or the number is not found, please contact us.
QCTO statements of results and occupational certificates are issued by the QCTO and can be checked with the QCTO.
