Complete the course and your certificate is added to your learning record, with a unique verification number.

For QCTO skills programmes and qualifications, your results are also submitted to the QCTO, which issues the national statement of results or certificate after its own quality checks.

Questions about online courses

Do I need to be in Gauteng?

No. Online courses are taken entirely through the Tonex Learning Portal, so you can study from anywhere in South Africa. Practical or workplace tasks are explained in each course.

How long do I have to finish?

Each course page shows its notional hours. Your access period and any deadlines are shown when you enrol.

Can my employer enrol a group?

Yes. We can enrol a group, give you progress reports and run live online sessions alongside the self-paced material. Contact us for a quote.

How do final assessments work?

Where a programme ends with a final integrated summative assessment (FISA), you book it and write it online under live invigilation, or at our Germiston venue.
